1. About Saskatchewan

The province of Saskatchewan is located in the western part of Canada. This is one of the three provinces of the Prairie region Canada. 2. What is the Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program (SINP)?

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is an immigration program administered by a provincial authority, operating under an agreement with the federal government. This program allows Saskatchewan to nominate applicants to the federal government for permanent residence.

The SINP’s Entrepreneur category attracts business talent to the province. The SINP Entrepreneur Category nominates applicants who are approved, under the criteria program, to acquire or collaborate in a business located in Saskatchewan and actively engaged in management and who reside in Saskatchewan.

Purpose of the program

  • Selection of candidates based on the economic needs of the province.
  • Competition application processing time.
  • Provincial immigration officers who can explain program requirements and processes.

Requirements required

  • Work experience: at least 3 years of business management experience in the last 10 years.
  • Proof of total assets of at least $500,000 CAD.

Applicants are required to invest a minimum amount in the business, specifically:

  • $300,000 CAD in Regina or Saskatoon.
  • $200,000 CAD in regions other than Regina or Saskatoon at least $200,000 CAD to start a business.
  • Hire at least 2 Canadians or permanent residents in Saskatchewan.
